Edmonton Forza FC was founded on March 13, 2017 by Andre Santos. The club has a relatively new history, but the Forza Football Club continues to hit important milestones year after year and continue its rapid growth in north Edmonton.
The club began by fielding one adult women's team in the EDSA league. This team offered adult women of all skill levels an opportunity to come together and play within a structured club environment. This women's team began to dominate the lower divisions of the EDSA league and within a few years Forza FC expanded into multiple women's teams. Year after year the adult program continued to grow and in 2019 Forza FC began fielding its first adult men's team.
In August of 2019 the Edmonton Forza FC launched a training academy for kids in North Edmonton. This training academy offered kids aged 4-17 years old an opportunity to work with quality coaches every week to help develop their individual games. This program was also a great affordable option for families to get their kids into soccer every week. Within a year of running these soccer programs Forza FC had expanded to three locations within the city of Edmonton with training options for kids in North, South, & West Edmonton. In 2021 Forza FC prioritized the north Edmonton location and began fielding competitive teams that had the opportunity to compete every week versus other clubs at an affordable cost to our families.
The Outdoor 2022 season was the first season that Forza FC fielded legitimate tier 1 & tier 2 teams. The Edmonton Forza FC was accepted into the EIYSA league as the newest member club. This was a wonderful opportunity for our highest level athletes to compete every week versus some of the best soccer players in the city and surrounding area. Edmonton Forza FC will continue its priority of fielding highly competitive teams with great coaching for our athletes. The following season all former EIYSA clubs moved to the EMSA league and we have been fielding teams in that league since.
